Description:

This internship is part of the Spring 2026 Professional Internship Program. The Tutoring Center Marketing Intern will work closely with professional staff to create and deploy online and on-campus marketing campaigns and plan Tutoring Center events. To be eligible for the program you must:

  • Be enrolled as an SUU student during the course of the internship.
  • Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Be willing to work 10 to 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a long-term marketing plan for the Tutoring Center
  • Overseeing the Tutoring Center's social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Creating digital and print marketing materials
  • Planning events to promote the Tutoring Center.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 3.0 GPA
  • Junior or Senior
  • Majoring in Marketing, Communication, Hospitality Management, or a related major
  • Substantial coursework completed in marketing and event planning
  • Good communication skills
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude

Preferred:

  • 3.5 GPA
  • Submission of portfolio or relevant work
